VSPAC | KASSIDY FITZGERALD
Kassidy Fitzgerald is a passionate dancer and dedicated educator with over 20 years of dance experience. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with a minor in Psychology from SUNY Purchase College. Kassidy’s love for dance began at Vicky Simegiatos Performing Arts Center (VSPAC), where she began training at the age of two. Under the guidance of Vicky Simegiatos, Despina Simegiatos, Matina Sporek, Nanette Michele, and Alexis Stefanou, she developed a strong technical foundation in multiple styles within a nurturing environment that deepened her passion for the art form. During her time at VSPAC, she earned a place in the scholarship program, performed lead roles in full-length productions, and competed as a member of the competition team where she consistently won elite awards around the tri-state area. Her training at VSPAC paved the way for her acceptance into Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School and the SUNY Purchase Dance Conservatory. She also trained with the Radio City Rockettes and the Martha Graham School, expanding her versatility and artistry. Kassidy has performed works by Tommy Tibball, Blakely White-McGuire, Gennesy Castillo, the Bill T. Jones Company, the Martha Graham Teens at Graham Company, and the Purchase Dance Company. She most recently performed as a SunKick in SunKicks Home for the Holidays at the Suncoast Broadway Theater. As an educator, Kassidy combines her professional experience to create a supportive, engaging, and inspiring classroom environment. She is committed to helping students build strong technique, develop confidence, and discover the joy of dance while perfecting the skills necessary for their growth.
