Mackenzie Bowman danced into her first class when she was 2 1/2 years old and has not stopped dancing since. When she walked into VSPAC she felt like it was her second home. Within those walls she has danced, laughed, sung and formed close friendships. In this manner, she has followed in her mother’s dance shoes, Michelle Bowman, who was also trained by Vicky Simegiatos, was a teacher at VSPAC for several years and was an original member of the VSDC. Mackenzie has been a part of VSPAC’s scholarship program since age 7, under the instruction of Vicky herself along with Matina Simegiatos and Despina Simegiatos. She was on all of VSPAC’s Elite Teams which have won several national overall awards. Mackenzie was also an original member of VSPAC’s Elite Dream Team which performed all over the Tri-State area.  She has trained in all forms of dance which include classical ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, lyrical, tap, hip hop and musical theater. She was offered a full scholarship at VSPAC in 2017.
