VSPAC | COVID-19 SAFETY
In our commitment to keeping our dancers and staff safe, we have implemented a number of studio and staff safety precautions.
-
All teachers and staff members will have their temperature taken upon entering the studio and each staff member will be required to wear a mask unless they are vaccinated.
-
All dancers will have their temperature taken upon entering the Studio. If your temperature is higher than 99, you will be unable to enter the building and take any classes. Please stay home if you are experiencing any of the following: cough, congestion, fever, stomach ache, headache etc. We will also send anyone home immediately if they state they aren’t feeling well. You must be symptom free for more than 48 hours to attend class.
-
Face covering rules will be updated in September.
-
Students will proceed up the stairs and remove their shoes before entering our facility and place their shoes in the designated area. Please have your child dressed for class prior to arrival and clothing/jackets that can fit in their bag. Our dressing rooms will be closed until further notice.
-
All students taking Ballet and/or Pointe classes will be required to purchase and use our signature “Barre Wrap” for all ballet classes. The Barre Wrap easily attaches and removes from the barres and is easy to clean and store.
-
We have added touchless hand sanitizers throughout the studio and in all bathrooms and classrooms.
-
The studio will be thoroughly cleaned at the end of each day and all high touch areas within the classroom will be cleaned after each class, including but not limited to music stations, barres, floors, mirrors, door knobs and light switches, etc.
-
There will be routine disinfection of high-contact surfaces including but not limited to the front desk, bathrooms, stairwells, barres, etc.
-
Bathrooms have been equipped with touchless faucets, soap dispensers and hand dryers. They will be disinfected every 2 hours. Bathrooms are reserved for dancers and staff only.
-
All VSPAC dance-rooms have been equipped with Medical Grade Filtration and Air Purification systems. Studio and classroom windows and doors will remain open whenever possible.
-
VSPAC's waiting room will be closed until further notice unless your child is 5 years old or under, then ONE parent/guardian will be allowed to wait inside our facility All class times will be staggered to allow for students to enter the studio and leave the studio in a safe manner. Parents of students ages 6 & Up will not be allowed to wait in the building, so students must be dropped off and picked up on time since they will be exiting the building immediately after their class is finished. Students will not be allowed to wait in the VSPAC waiting room/lobby if a parent/caregiver is late for pick up. We encourage parents to wait in their cars or somewhere close by until their child’s class is finished if their child is under the age of 7.
-
Parents/caregivers agree that they will social distance themselves while they are outside of the VSPAC building while waiting to pick up their children after class.
